This week’s I ♥ Faces photo challenge theme is to capture a smirk, and I knew instantly the photo to use!
I captured this at my last photo shoot. The sister has a beautiful smile, but likes a closed mouth look and I was hoping for a real laugh. So, I asked her little brother to do something to make her smile. That caused a lot of funny antics on his part. Here he decided to act like a monkey. It didn’t make her laugh, only evoked the emotion a normal teen would have towards their little brother – irritation. Thus the smirk! But their mom loves this photo. She says it tells the REAL story of their relationship.

What a wonderful shot to really capture their youth! Those are looks I'm sure their parents see day after day and will be wonderful memories for them to have. They are too cute.
