I think once, a long, long time ago, I participated in Macro Monday. I’m not sure why I don’t more often since macro is my favorite type of photography. Oh Well, here I am now! And, I have a photo that I took yesterday that I just LOVE! I take lots of butterfly and bug photos, but I love this one because you can see the butterfly’s proboscis (Adult butterflies sip nectar and other liquids using a spiral, straw-like proboscis located on their head.) dipping into the thistle.
Oh, and take a look at the little lady bug in the bottom left corner… I’m not sure I even knew she was there when I shot this, but I’m glad she was!
Oh he's gorgeous! I love the Barrymore quote! How true, now if I can just remember that when I stumble across the ugly ones, lol.
