I have to say, I was so thrilled with how they turned out! He was a GREAT model for my first shoot. So easy to get to smile and didn't complain too much, even though we spent more than two and half hours at the park. There were 25 photos that I edited and she gets to order from -- and she loves them all!!
So, here are a few of my favorites - please tell me what you think and give me any pointers -- I'm dying to make a career out of this! (After a lot more practice ~ and a few classes!) I figured out what I want to be when I grow up at the age of 40-something! :)

these are really great!! you had some super lighting, and a handsome guy, too!! what a complement from your sister!! congrats on a very successful shoot!!!
ReplyDeleteSeven is a great year to celebrate! I agree with you that this boy are so natural to the camera. The last b/w picture, it will be better if you have a reflector or just a piece of white board in front of the boy to reduce the shadow. Thanks for dropping by Angie. Keep in touch! :)
ReplyDelete@VanillaSeven: Thank you! I actually have a reflector and didn't carry it to this spot. I used it on some of the shots, but this was the last shot of the day and I was tired and had gotten sloppy! I won't let that happen again! Thanks for the suggestion - I need all the help I can get! :)
ReplyDeleteI am not a professional photographer. I just love taking photos of things that interest me. But from my point of view, I'd say you are right on track :)
ReplyDeleteYou have an adorable subject here :)
Good luck!
