Todays Shots: My Clematis Macros

I'm so in love with my new camera! And, every day I'm learning something new about it! Today I figured out how to get great outdoor exposure on completely manual mode! Woo Hoo, me! That was actually mostly in part to my new favorite book, Understanding Exposure: How to Shoot Great Photographs with a Film or Digital Camera (Updated Edition)

Now, if I can just figure out which flash to get and light meter and studio lights and backdrop and etc. etc...

So, here's today's works of art. I'm trying to take lots and lots of photos. Practice makes perfect, right?

I love this one... the clematis seed heads from underneath
